Our first meeting in September found us hosting Docc Hilford and his Mentalism with Meaning lecture. Docc hand-picked a dozen original mentalism effects built entirely around the simplest borrowed props — a deck of cards, a pencil, an envelope, a magazine, a book. No sleights. No heavy gimmicks. Nothing complicated to learn — but the impact hits like a seasoned pro's closer.

This lecture was the final straw that got club officer’s looking for larger meeting space — we had 38 people attend and some people were left standing the whole time. We love a great turnout like that, but would love it even better if everyone had a good seat!
