The Phoenix Magic Club is putting together a full lineup for our November 8 public show at the ASU Kerr Center in Old Town Scottsdale. We’ve got several spots left to fill and need you!

We need:

• 2–3 close-up performers

• 4–6 parlor/stage performers

Come ready to show us 3–6 minutes of your best material — close-up or stage, any style.

We want performers who bring something distinct to the lineup, but you don’t have to be a pro — amateurs are welcome!

Since this show is really a chance to showcase what our own club can do, current PMC members will get first consideration for these slots, but non-members are welcome to audition.

Please come to the audition dressed as you would for your performance, with the props you’ll be using. Bringing a backup set might also be a good idea, just in case the person who goes before you knocks the socks off the audition committee with the same thing you were going to do!

A reservation is not required, but please send an email to secretary@phoenixmagicclub.com so we can get an estimate of how many people to expect. Show up between 2:00 and 2:30 PM, and time slots will be drawn. If you can, please hang out until the last person has auditioned so everyone has an audience.

Walk-Around?

If you’d like to perform walk-around magic before the show, no audition is required, but you must be a PMC member and sign up ahead of time. Contact President Bill Halmi or Secretary Jay Jennings for more information.
